SuitabookAlien in my belly button
Jimmy Mars
- Reading
- If you are unsure about the gross-out humour, read a little together first and see whether the silliness works for your reader. The ending and full range of jokes remain unclear.
- Themes
- The alien’s search: Binko is looking for the escaped Toe Cheese Chimple, and Pete joins the search around his house. The premise sets up a comic adventure, but the book’s broader treatment of the characters or their choices is not established.
- Worth knowing
- The humour is explicitly described as gross-out, with references to bodily smells, body parts and farting. A reader who dislikes that kind of joke may want to know this beforehand.
