About Suitabook
Trust & Family Privacy
Book guidance is personal. Your family information should be private. This page explains the product’s controls and the limits of its guidance; it is not a legal Privacy Notice.

Private profiles, controlled by your family
Child profiles and family reading information are not public. Access is limited to authorised family members and necessary protected operations.
Authorised adults can review and edit a child’s profile, and remove a child through the confirmation step in their profile. You can select several readers when browsing or clear the selection to return to general book guidance.
Suitabook does not use child information for behavioural advertising. Add only the information that is useful for your reading decisions; optional sensitivities and reading-support information are not required for general exploration.
Your information stays authoritative
Explicit information supplied by a parent remains authoritative. Inferred behaviour should not silently rewrite what you told us about your child. Each child retains their own guidance and Reading Plan, even when you browse for several children together.
AI-assisted, not infallible
Suitabook uses AI-assisted systems as part of its Book Intelligence workflows, with structured evidence, versioning, validation and evaluation controls. Automated systems can make mistakes.
A guide may be based on a description or synopsis rather than the full text. Open ‘Sources & Confidence’ on contextual guides, or ‘About This Analysis’ on other guides, for the evidence and its limitations. Missing evidence remains unknown; it does not mean a concern is absent or that a book is unsuitable.
Guidance, not a guarantee
We explain the potential fit, considerations and suggested approach and timing rather than presenting a percentage-match score. A shared family result does not replace each child’s individual explanation.
Suitabook does not diagnose children or replace parental judgement or specialist advice. You make the final reading decision.
