Suitabook is a book-guidance service for parents and guardians. We help you understand whether a book may fit a particular child, why, what to consider, and how or when to approach it.

Children of the same age can have very different interests, reading confidence, sensitivities and current circumstances. Suitabook looks beyond a generic age label to help you make a more informed choice.
Useful explanations, not a score
Explore the story, themes and content in a book guide before creating an account. When you select your children, Suitabook brings the available book analysis and their profiles together, with a separate explanation and reading approach for each child.
A family summary helps you see whether the book could suit all or some of your selected children. Where the evidence is insufficient, we say so instead of counting uncertainty as an unsuitable verdict.
Parents stay in control
Suitabook advises; the parent or guardian decides. We do not declare books universally good or bad, diagnose reading difficulties, or replace professional educational, medical or psychological advice.
A recommendation cannot guarantee that a child will enjoy, understand or respond to a book in a particular way. Check the guide’s evidence and limitations alongside your own knowledge of your child.
