- Reading
- If you are reading the series together, briefly recap who Sam is seeking and what Alex, Shiva and Eva are doing; then let the reader follow whichever strand they find most compelling.
- Themes
- Interwoven missions: Sam's journey, Alex and Shiva's captivity, and Eva's competition form separate strands connected to the search for Solaris and the stolen Gears. The plot is structured around concurrent missions whose connection is made through their shared search; the competition has a stated role in that larger pursuit.
- Worth knowing
- Captivity, wrist bombs that threaten to detonate, pursuit and encounters with terrifying monsters bring sustained peril. Consider whether that kind of danger is comfortable for your reader.
