- Themes
- A Christmas tradition centred on Jesus: Hayes seeks a family tradition; the proposed celebration includes making a birthday cake for Jesus and connecting recipe steps to Bible verses. The book presents this Christian understanding of Christmas as its guiding perspective, rather than as a neutral overview of different traditions.
