- Reading
- If your reader is new to this arc, consider checking whether the earlier book would help them follow the journey; this is identified as the second book in The New Prophecy.
- Themes
- The journey and the prophecies: The book addresses the journey and the prophecies; the detail of how it is developed remains unclear. The prophecies and urgent warning provide a framework for the journey, but the story’s judgement of them is unclear.
- Different communities and beliefs: The travelling cats meet a mountain tribe described as having its own beliefs and a mysterious prophecy. The encounter places different beliefs alongside one another; whether the narrative favours or challenges either group is unclear.
- Worth knowing
- It does not establish how intense these events are or whether harm is shown directly.
