SuitabookReturn of the Ender Dragon
Danica Davidson
- Reading
- If the threat of monsters or possible character loss may feel intense, read alongside the child and pause before the final battle; the ending remains unclear.
- Themes
- Friendship and collective responsibility: Stevie, Alex and Maison work together to recover the crystals and confront a threat to worlds they love. The book?s stance on this remains unclear.
- Courage under threat: The friends have to take a stand against the Ender Dragon, her minions and the danger posed to the Overworld and Earth. The premise places courage and resistance at the centre, but does not establish whether the book treats particular responses as morally preferred beyond confronting the threat.
- Worth knowing
- Expect peril, frightening monsters, threatening destruction and battle language.
