SuitabookWish Come True
Ann Gabhart
- Reading
- Read together if helpful, pausing to check how the mystery feels as it develops. You could let your reader choose whether to discuss the family history or Lyssie’s hopes.
- Themes
- The mirror and family mystery: Aunt Reva gives Lyssie an antique mirror and hints at its connection to her sister's death. Lyssie comes to suspect strange forces and worries about another tragedy. The book’s stance on this remains unclear.
- Worth knowing
- The story involves a sister’s death and Lyssie’s fear that another tragedy could happen. Consider whether that combination might feel intense for your reader.
