- Reading
- Try reading a little together first, then decide whether the humour and ranch adventure are engaging enough to continue independently or as a shared read.
- Themes
- A cowboy-style ranch adventure: The ranch activities could provide a focus for discussing what the characters experience. The book’s stance on this remains unclear.
- Worth knowing
- Riding and herding cattle are part of the premise. How these activities are shown, including whether anything goes wrong, remains unclear.
