- Reading
- If you read together, pause when the suspicions arise and invite your reader to weigh what the characters know; return to the question when the story reveals more.
- Themes
- Suspicion and friendship: After a series of trail accidents, Jess is blamed and Rosie’s trust in her is affected. This sets up a question about how quickly suspicion can affect a friendship.
- Worth knowing
- The synopsis includes repeated accidents on the trail and other characters suspecting Jess. How serious the incidents are, and how upsetting the accusations become, is unclear.
