- Reading
- Read a short section at a time and pause to look up any astronomy terms together; invite the reader to note which discoveries they want to learn more about.
- Themes
- Women’s contributions to astronomy: The book covers women astronomers' discoveries and introduces three women contributing to astronomy. The stated focus is informational: it presents women's work in astronomy and its significance.
- Worth knowing
- The balance between biographies and astronomy itself is unclear, as is how much scientific background the book assumes. You could preview a section together if that matters.
