Original Book on Book Dash: An unexpected adventure (opens in a new tab)- Reading
- Take time with each spread: invite the reader to describe what they notice, predict what might happen next, and decide together when the scenes shift back to the library.
- Themes
- Books and imaginative journeys: A boy opens a book, appears in imaginative settings, and is later shown back in the library. The sequence connects book-reading with imaginative adventure, but does not state a broader message about reading.
- Worth knowing
- The adventure includes a dinosaur, a large shark-like silhouette underwater, and a boy riding on a bird; these striking images may prompt questions about danger or what is real.
