SuitabookMoana finds the way
Susan Amerikaner
- Reading
- Try reading it together, pausing when new creatures or places appear. A child can follow the journey while you help with any unfamiliar words or folklore references.
- Themes
- A quest linked to ancestors: Moana sets out on a voyage to pursue a quest connected to her ancestors. The outline establishes this connection but does not show whether the story questions, praises or complicates taking up an inherited quest.
- Worth knowing
- The voyage includes enormous sea creatures and underworlds. If these kinds of fantastical encounters unsettle your child, it may help to look through the book together first.
