- Reading
- Try the opening together, then check whether the adventure’s pace and suspense work for your reader. Pause at the crystal quest to talk about what makes it important, without assuming the story’s resolution.
- Themes
- Power and the Kiaburr Crystal: Luke and Leia join a quest for a crystal described as a powerful amplifier of the Force. The crystal’s capacity to magnify power makes its possession a consequential part of the adventure.
- Worth knowing
- The outline includes a crash landing, a highly dangerous mining operation and a race against the Empire. These establish peril and suspense, but not how vividly harm is depicted.
