Marcia Williams
- Reading
- Read a tale at a time, pausing to look at the comic-strip details and note any cultural or technological advance that catches your reader’s interest.
- Themes
- Stories as an introduction to ancient Egypt: The book presents nine retold tales in comic-strip style and includes details about cultural and technological advances. The described approach uses stories and visual storytelling to introduce ancient Egyptian mythology and history.
- Worth knowing
- Mythology and early history sit together here; a reader may benefit from help noticing when a tale is presenting myth rather than historical information.
