SuitabookCape Mermaid Mystery

- Reading
- Read a little together at first, pausing after the noises or message to make predictions. If ghost stories unsettle the reader, agree whether to continue before the next suspenseful scene.
- Themes
- Investigating an apparent haunting: Nancy and her friends investigate strange events at Cape Mermaid, including noises, a help message and a possible ghost sighting. The haunting is presented as a question to investigate rather than an established fact; a reader summary says the friends seek who is causing the trouble.
- Worth knowing
- The ghost theme may be the main point to notice: one reader says it frightened her children, while another says the investigators treat ghosts as unreal. Reactions may differ.
