SuitabookEl pozo detrás de la puerta
Josep Sampere
- Reading
- Read together in short stretches, pausing when the clues point towards the hidden floor. This gives space to weigh what Álex and Olga know before the mystery advances.
- Themes
- The cost of wishes: The neighbours’ wishes come true in sinister ways, and the well requires a sacrifice in return. The premise sets up a tension between getting what one wants and the price attached to it.
- An investigation built around an impossible place: Lift incidents lead Álex and Olga to an apartment-building floor absent from the lift’s button panel. The premise uses a concrete puzzle—the unexplained floor—as the focus of the young characters’ investigation.
- Worth knowing
- The premise includes sinister wish-fulfilment and a required sacrifice. Consider whether supernatural menace and the idea of paying a serious price for a wish suit the reader.
