SuitabookDark Angel, The Chosen, Soulmate
Lisa Jane Smith
- Reading
- Treat the volume as three separate stories: pause between them to notice how each heroine’s conflict differs, then consider what the shared Night World rules add.
- Themes
- Love against Night World rules: The Night World is a secret society with strict rules, and falling in love breaks its laws; Rashel also meets Quinn, who belongs to a world she has vowed to destroy. The book presents this mainly as information or explanation.
- Three linked storylines: The volume collects Dark Angel, The Chosen and Soulmate, following Gillian, Rashel and Hannah in the same supernatural society. The three-part arrangement gives each heroine a separate dilemma while the common setting links the stories.
- Worth knowing
- The premises include a drowning rescue, a mother’s death, vengeance, vampire mind control, sinister requests and warnings of danger. These elements may merit a check-in if peril or bereavement is difficult for your reader.
