SuitabookTracy Tam

- Reading
- Read alongside a conversation about testing ideas before acting, then revisit the boundary between explanation and magic. Pause after the computer failure to consider what responsible problem-solving might require.
- Themes
- Curiosity and responsibility: Tracy investigates Santa’s operation, attempts to hack its computers and then has to help correct the resulting disruption. The adventure gives curiosity an active role, while also showing that an unauthorised action can create wider consequences; the ending’s judgement remains unclear.
- Science, belief and magic: Tracy begins by rejecting Santa and seeking a scientific explanation, but the adventure ultimately includes Christmas magic. The story appears to hold rational explanation and magic together rather than presenting only one framework; the final balance is not established.
- Worth knowing
- The story includes accidental technological damage, disrupted time and an urgent effort to save Christmas.
