Margaret Mayo

Reading: Read the printed rhymes aloud, or make up your own lines for a letter. There is no plot to keep track of, so you can pause on a favourite vehicle.
Themes: Vehicles and the alphabet: The book matches one vehicle to each letter from A to Z. The book presents this mainly as information or explanation.
Worth knowing: The lines include playful sound effects and vehicle noises, including a blaring ambulance siren. If loud sounds are a concern, preview that passage together.
