SuitabookSecret Santa
Guy Bass
- Reading
- Try the opening together to see whether the secret-agent humour and Christmas twist appeal. If the climate threat raises questions, pause to talk about what the characters are trying to prevent.
- Themes
- Justice and criminality: Santa is described as an agent who dispenses his own brand of justice while pursuing a criminal scheme. The premise puts justice at the centre of the action, but does not establish what kind of justice Santa uses or how it is judged.
- Worth knowing
- The plot involves criminals and a plan to bring about a new ice age, with the possibility of the world being snowed under. How danger or harm is depicted is unclear.
