SuitabookTales from the Packs
Erin Hunter
- Reading
- You could read one novella at a time and pause after each to ask which character’s choices you understood best. Check in if the disaster or survival scenes feel intense.
- Themes
- Survival and adaptation: Alpha learns to survive outside an ordinary dog Pack, while Moon begins a new life after disaster changes her circumstances. Survival and adjustment shape the brief accounts of these characters, but the stories’ judgements about their choices are not established.
- Finding a place in a Pack: Sweet searches for a Pack and finds a place as its Beta; Alpha is described as a half-dog among wolves. The book’s stance on this remains unclear.
- Worth knowing
- Disaster and survival are part of the described situations, including Moon losing the life she knew. The amount of peril, injury or bereavement shown is unclear.
