Sign in for personalised guidanceA playful search story turns Lucy’s worry about her missing sister into a string of mistaken hippo sightings, then reveals where Thabi has been. The story ends with the sisters and hippo together at breakfast.
Lucy looks concerned when she first cannot find Thabi, but the story soon becomes playful. The seesaw scene shows Lucy lifted into the air; no injury or lasting distress is shown.
This is a grounded book brief while Suitabook strengthens the analysis: the book’s treatment of its main themes is not yet firm enough; some draft conclusions still depend on unresolved evidence.
