Sign in for personalised guidanceHow the book presents it: The story presents curiosity and noticing as enjoyable parts of a shared adventure.
Talk about: Which detail would you most like to look at more closely, and why?
The changing views—from tiny-looking rivers and buildings to familiar colours and shapes—offer natural openings to notice perspective and describe what the characters see.
The friends are blown from their cloud and fall through the sky; they briefly say it is getting very cold. The scenes remain playful, but the fall is a noticeable part of the adventure.
Which things do Tone and Nyunyu recognise as they look down, and what clues help them work out what the colourful object is?
Pause at the view from the clouds and again when the characters spot the coloured object. Invite your child to describe what they notice before reading the answer aloud.
Theme indicators describe how the book presents a topic; they are not a verdict on the whole book or your family's values. Confidence reflects how much book-specific material was checked. The complete text and illustrations were available for this guide.
