The four young heroes are scattered after a devastating betrayal.
The heroes have sacrificed much in their talisman quest, and greater sacrifices are foreshadowed as the world crumbles and an enemy opposes them.
The story is framed by betrayal, a crumbling world, a ruthless enemy and anticipated sacrifices. If intense peril or separation is difficult for your reader, consider checking how these are depicted together.
This is a grounded book brief while Suitabook strengthens the analysis: another book-specific source is still needed; the book’s treatment of its main themes is not yet firm enough.
