Norma, Belly and their companions devise a plan involving a fortune-cookie factory and altered fortunes to obtain food.
The group encounters factory hazards, a burned-out fortune writer and consumers who disregard the fortunes while pursuing its food-finding plan.
Some action involves entering a factory, dodging hazards and trying to influence cookie consumers with altered fortunes. The treatment is described as humorous and involving slightly less peril than earlier volumes, though the ending’s details are not given.
This is a grounded book brief while Suitabook strengthens the analysis: some draft conclusions still depend on unresolved evidence.
