A group of friends tries to summon Bloody Mary for amusement, after which strange events begin and they investigate what they mean.
The friends uncover a version of the Bloody Mary legend while trying to understand the message and strange occurrences.
The teenagers’ dialogue is described as realistic, and this is said to make the characters come to life.
Expect scary passages and sustained uncertainty: the explanation of the strange events is withheld until very late, and not everything is resolved into one definite interpretation.
This is a grounded book brief while Suitabook strengthens the analysis: some draft conclusions still depend on unresolved evidence.
