Hadija asks for a birthday party, but her mother says the family has no money for one. Hadija becomes upset and leaves home.
Aisha finds Hadija in the tree, asks her to come down and later encourages her to forgive her family as they walk home.
Hadija runs away into a forest and climbs high into a tree while angry. Her parents search for her, and she later comes down after her friend speaks with her; this situation may prompt discussion.
This is a grounded book brief while Suitabook strengthens the analysis: the book’s treatment of its main themes is not yet firm enough; some draft conclusions still depend on unresolved evidence.
