Death of a saint

The premise combines survival peril with trust between friends: Lele knows why the dead leave the group unharmed but cannot bring herself to tell the others.

The story includes the living dead, threatened capture and a question of whether the group can survive on the road. These elements may bring suspense and danger.

If the group’s secrets affect how they rely on one another, what helps them decide when to share difficult knowledge?

Try the opening together if zombie peril or threatened capture could be unsettling; pause to check how the danger feels, then decide whether to continue.
