Zandi plays and has adventures with Birdy Monster, whom no one else can see. Her other friends cannot see Birdy, but the story does not say what they think about his joining their play.
A dark bedtime scene includes Zandi glowing so she will not be scared. The story also says Gogo likes to cheat at cards, though it gives little detail about how the others respond.
This is a grounded book brief while Suitabook strengthens the analysis: the book’s treatment of its main themes is not yet firm enough.
