Notice how the illustrations show each kind of weather and what the bunnies wear or do. If a child wants more factual explanation, extend the conversation beyond the story rather than expecting technical detail here.

Which weather would you most like to play in, and what might you notice there? How do the pictures help you tell rain, wind, ice and snow apart?

Read the rhyme aloud, pause for children to identify the current weather and revisit the pictures for small details. Afterwards, compare the book’s playful treatment with what weather feels like outside.
