R. J. R. Rockwood - Author
This story combines an imaginative out-of-body premise with a child’s experience of bereavement. Its central appeal may be the way supernatural events and the longing for a lost friend sit alongside one another.

Daren is killed in a road accident, and Dillon continues to miss his friend even as he comes to terms with grief.
Dillon’s chair enables him to leave his body, become invisible, pass through solid objects and communicate with spirits.
A friend is killed when a tractor is driven into the road and struck by a truck. Dillon’s grief and missing his friend remain part of the story after he communicates with the spirit.
This is a grounded book brief while Suitabook strengthens the analysis: another book-specific source is still needed; the book’s treatment of its main themes is not yet firm enough.
