Summary: Zigzoo is a mighty young dragon. One day, he catches a cold and becomes ill. His grandmother tells him colds are a human illness, and he has to seek for help from a human doctor. The doctor Zigzoo first visits is afraid of a fire-puffing dragon and sends him off to seek help from another specialist. Poor Zigzoo goes from one professional to the next, but each one finds a different excuse for not helping him. His search for help takes him all the way back to where he started. But this time, he winds up helping the one who was not willing to help him in the first place, and finds that he has helped himself too. Zigzoo catches a cold and travels from one professional to another looking for help.
A human doctor is afraid of a fire-puffing dragon and sends Zigzoo away; later Zigzoo helps someone who previously refused him.
Notice how the professionals’ excuses are presented, and whether the story treats their fear as understandable, unfair or simply comic. The returning encounter may invite discussion about kindness and reciprocity.
This is a grounded book brief while Suitabook strengthens the analysis: the book’s treatment of its main themes is not yet firm enough; some draft conclusions still depend on unresolved evidence.
